We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Only what we need to sell you a book and answer your email.

We never see your card details. Payment is handled entirely by our payment provider. Your card number is not transmitted to us and is not stored on our systems at any point.
This site uses cookies and tracking pixels — including from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Reddit — so we can tell whether our advertising is working and stop paying for advertising that isn't.

Several of these providers are based outside Australia, most commonly in the United States and the European Union. By buying from us or subscribing, you accept that your information may be stored and processed overseas, where privacy laws may differ from Australian law. We choose established providers with published privacy commitments.
If you buy or opt in, we may send you occasional emails. Every one of them has a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
We comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth): we send commercial email only with your consent, we identify ourselves in every message, and we always give you a way to opt out. We do not buy or use purchased email lists.

Email us first and we'll try to sort it out. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, and we deliberately keep very little of it — the less we hold, the less there is to lose. No system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security. If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the OAIC as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
This product is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, email us and we'll delete it.
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. If the change is significant and affects you, we'll tell subscribers by email.
